Geoffrey Boothby

Geoff joined the founder of the firm, Guy Faber, in 1977 and became a partner later that year. He is now the senior partner and specialises in criminal cases and family matters and is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel. He enjoys playing tennis, walking, theatre and football. He is a member of the Harrogate Magistrates Court User Group.

Steven Rae

Steve became a partner in the firm in 1983 and has particular expertise in commercial leases, the sale and purchase of commercial property, and business acquisitions and disposals. He also has substantial experience in the field of Probate and Trusts and Domestic Conveyancing. In his free time he takes a keen interest in music - in particular opera, and plays golf.

Jonathan Smail

Jonathan has been a partner with the firm since 1999. He specialises in residential and commercial property matters and also has experience of dealing with wills, probate and trusts. In his younger days he was a county tennis player and is still a keen player. He also enjoys squash and windsurfing.

Guy founded the firm in 1970 and is now a practising consultant specialising in wills and probate.

Atholl Wilson

Atholl joined the firm in March 2002 as a practising consultant specialising in wills, probate, trusts and tax planning. For many years he was a partner in the firm of Raworths in Harrogate and brings considerable experience to his chosen field.
